jim c 351
Here's a nice Colt I bought at a gun show. Its a commercial gun made in 1917 and shoots the big 45 Colt cartridge. Not to bad of shape for 99 years old. Jim C
OCM
It's a beauty- Can't remember what's that thing called under the grip ? Had one on mine ( S&W) but someone removed it before I bought it.
darrylta
Jim,Plus 1 on that one.I've always called these T-Grips, may be wrong though?I've got one in my tool box I bought for a vintage Colt revolver, haven't installed yet.Are you going to shoot the beauty or is it just for show & tell?Darryl
av8tr
The lanyard loop?
jim c 351
Sandy,Its a Tyler "T" grip. I have one on all my revolvers that do not have Pachmyer grips. Darryl,I've had it out several times. Had to tweek the front site ever so slightly. It now shoots dead on at 25 yds. I've hit some nice groups on paper and will try it on steel plates soon. I load 250 gr Berry plated and 8 gr of Unique. A pleasant load. av8tr,Yes it has a lanyard loop. Gravity is making it hard to see. Darryl,Didn't you buy one of these revolvers a while back?? Thanks for the comments.Jim C

Tecolote
That is a beautiful revolver. I have a 1930 vintage .44-40 that I put a Tyler T-grip on ,and a pair of M1917s to which I added NOS Pachmayrs I got from Numrich. ADding the adapters sure helps with shooting thse big ole guns Regards, Tecolte
