TD.
Bob,Very nice! Your unique manufacturer mark will be deeply appreciated by collectors in the many years to follow. I would assume many of these bolts will end up in your blank guns. To those that own an M1 West Hurley Thompson gun, you need to check your bolt and see if a World War II manufacturer mark is present. If no World War II mark is present, then your bolt is most likely an AOC West Hurley manufactured bolt. If so, it most likely does not conform to GI specifications. One of Bob's new bolts would make an excellent replacement.
reconbob
The head on the blank gun bolt is 0.100" longer than the head of an original bolt. There is a corresponding extra 0.100" on the front face of the bolt pocket so that ifsomeone tried to fit an original bolt into the blank gun receiver, the head would notreach far enough forward to fire a cartridge. TSMGguy
Especially like the keystone logo! The original finish for a WWII M1A1 bolt was blued. For M1 bolts, bright.
Bridgeport28A1
WW2 M1A1 bolts may also be bright per American Thunder 3.
