M-60 with a suppressor possible?

Recommended Posts

I tried my semi M-60 with an AAC cyclone, and it did not cycle. Do M-60s play nice with suppressors? Are there any adjustments that will help it work?

Sorry for the newby questions and thanks for the advice. I would like to suppress the noise to keep neighbors happy.

Regards,

Chris

FWIW, bunch more FA examples on youtube:

Didn't see any semi videos suppressed, but SA M60s are prob more rare than FA.

WRT baffle strikes

My main concern would be old M60 barrels that potentially have outer threads that aren't perfectly concentric to the barrel bore.

Def would want to check this on an old "E1" barrel. I'd def trust newer USOrd barrels to be in spec a lot more...

Also, prob want to use a thread-on can vs. mounted can as some AAC mounts (such as AAC-51T) are known to have some play in them out of the box.

These are prob more of an issue than "flex"
