I would bet that most of you guys know. Im new to this board but I do own a savage 1928a-1. I am looking for a spare parts set.

I have 3 Savage '28A1 frames and 2 of the 3 will mate to a Colt 21A receiver. The frame that will not interchange would need only minor fitting. If you needed it to go on, I believe it would. But getting it back off might prove interesting. And the same Savage '28A1 frame is a little too tight to fit on a Savage '28A1 receiver. No CNC machining in the 20s & 40s, but they are close.

Thanks guys! Looks as if I am going to order the parts kit from Ohio ordinance. I might even buy thier reciever just for fun of it.
