JDG
I know this is Off Topic but this is the most heavily read Forum on this site so I am asking anyway. I am looking for a source of US GI only, 30 round M2 carbine mags. I see that Northridge has some M2 mags for sale and I plan to contact them to confirm if they are GI or not. If anyone knows a source for these mags please let me know. Thanks for any input! Jeremy
Chip
I've bought a few at gunbroker.com. I am not sure what's listed now, but I've seen GI mags there from time to time.

LIONHART
Stay the Hell away from those USA Brand M1 carbine Mags! Talk about El-Junko. Had a few that were given to me (Thank God I didn't spend a Nickel on 'em) All Five were 30 Rounders supposedly. I could not load 7 rounds, let alone 30 in any of them! Off to my Trash they went...Stick with USGI.
Ron Mills
I had read somewhere a few years ago that there were after-market mags being produced in India, and that they were terrible.
full auto 45
I had a couple for my mini 14. They blow bad. Not worth the metal they're made of. I could see them being made in India with a name like USA on it. What a shame.

Bisley45
I had a couple of non USGI's that came from Korea, they even showed flame hardening and worked great. Sadly the importer no longer has them listed.
Carbine1
Good ones are marked "AYP" Although I don't believe they are USGI, they do work well. KYImports.com had them. There is also a gentleman in Ft Collins, CO that sells old stock M1 carbine parts. I can't remember his name but he sells carbine parts on EBAY under the name Folcmote, he is the only person I know of that may have USGI 30rd mags. Waffen Und Bier
and SEY are good (or so I hear)
First Sergeant
I bought a few of AYP marked ones at the Creek last year ($11ea) and they work great. I've heard their lineage is in doubt but many feel they came from Belgium. If they work that's what concerns most of us and these do.
