deerslayer
Since this is "Thompson like" I thought I'd give it a brief review. It does use standard gi mags. One supplied mag had the left feed lip notched, possibly to better clear the extractor, though an unmodified mag didn't hit it. The extractor would not snap over a single loaded round. The cartridges must rise up from the magazine, so I suppose it has controlled round feeding lol... It's striker fired. It also has a plastic insert for the feed ramp, and a plastic lower. Function in my brief test was sporadic. I made a set of wood for this gun and thought a brief review here might be of interest. The original buttstock is an unmodified go 1928 one that screws directly to the lower. The front grip mounting area is unique sized but close to gi. Rear grip attachment is unique and quite small. Porschedog
Congrats! I had a 9mm version many years ago, for a week. We could not get it to run so,I traded it for a Ruger Mk2 that I still have. Now I’m all Thompson or not at all.
