Gun pictures - getting started offer critic/advice for my samples

Here is my first try after reading the helpful threads here. I bought a Nikon D3300 as a Christmas present to myself.

I used the white plastic background from B&H.

With some cheap lights

Camera settings
Manual mode
f/11
ISO-100
exposure 0.77 sec.

All I did to it in Photoshop was crop it.

Here it is full size.

Dave,

I have in excess of 80K rnds through it now and it still runs like a top and is still very tight. The finish at the ejection port has suffered and I have worn out a barrel until it was a smooth bore as well as broken one extractor and a "C" clip but other than that its been extremely reliable.

Mongo,

I was at 2 shoots with you in Leona, TX in 2001 and 2002, and saw you put many hundreds of rounds through it. It runs like a sewing machine.

Yeah I put a ammo can of 900 rnds through it every time I go out so it starts adding up fast.
