It all started back on November 1, 2005, when I picked up the phone and ordered my Tommy from Sarco, and it ended yesterday on March 19, 2006, when I put the finishing touches of cold blueing on the small scuff marks along the barrel. 5 months later, with a little help from my friends (and the ATF http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif ), I have now realized one of my goals in WW2 reenacting: having my own SBR Thompson.
