dokkerdam
I recently bought a Kahr Thompson 'Pistol' with the 50 round drum.marked "L". The gun is marked "Worcester" and the drum is marked "Auto-Ordnance Corp. New York". My best guess so far is the rig was made in 2009 with serial no. KJ0xxx. The drum has a very amateurish paint job on it rather than bluing. There is unevenness, some orange peeling and even a hair caught in the paint. Is this normal, or does it look like I have an aftermarket or reworked/remanufactured/repainted drum? (I think the gun has an aluminum receiver and aluminum frame. They both have a very high quality even coating of some sort rather than bluing). dokkerdam
