Thinking of selling my reproduction MP44 mags, fair price?

Recommended Posts

When I purchased my MP44, it came with 8 reproduction mags. They have MP44 on one side and FXO on the other. No "dirty bird" markings. I don't want to take the time and effort in selling them individually so thinking of bundling all of them for 400 dollars and buyer pays actual shipping costs.

Do you guys think that would be a fair price for both buyer and seller?

I am not ready to sell them yet but thought I would ask you guys regarding pricing.

I have three original mags so over time will purchase additional ones. I am on the hunt for East German Mags too.

Thanks guys.

That is a good price. They dont work real well for live fire but look good for display purposes. There is a 1001 post war mag on GB for sale. Not cheap...over priced imo.

Thanks Vin. Maxim and TSMG guy, appreciate the feed back.

Think I will stick with the 8 mags for 400 when I am ready to sell them so someone will get a good deal and I can purchase another WW2 or Post Ward East German mag.

That is a fair shake for a new buyer looking for 8 mags.since cost on those was $55.00 each from the importer back when...Any new buyer should not even question that deal. That is like selling ten Thompson mint new cond Patent date mags for a $1,000.00 No questions asked just buy them.RON K.

The repro mags i tried would feed only if i put maybe 10 or 12 rounds in them. Any more than that they nose dive.

There was 3 batches of those from different maker of those. you might have had the weak spring ones.Sarco and Numrich had a Different batch from the ones i had gotten in when the mp-44's arrived. those are the ones i sold to Recon, and as far as i heard no issues ever. And he sold well over 500 of them. SINCE I KNOW WHAT I SHIPPED OUT.

also later on , they did ship out stronger springs for the first batch.I tested them in semi and full auto no issues.

however i did have ammo feeding reissues chamber with the first guns.with the privi ammo.

anyhow history long past and done with it.RON K.
