What type of Thompson drum carrier is this?

Recommended Posts

I have a drum carrier that I acquired about a year ago and am now thinking about selling. I would like to know what type of drum carrier this is. Is this drum carrier for a Thompson drum, who made it, and how much it is worth. The only markings I can find on the drum are the numbers 222 and then a triangel with a line through it that resembles a bullet. Here is the link to the picture of the drum carrier:

Yup, I have a drum pouch like that one too. All I know is that it's British proofed (broad arrow and dates) with the P37 style buckles on the back. I've been told variously that it's either a Lewis drum pouch or a Bren drum pouch. While I don't either (I would LOVE to have a Lewis...I'd even sell a kidney!) I'd also like a definitive answer.
