OK folks. this isn't directly related to Thompsons, but here goes. I have an antique .32 auto pistol that ruptured a case leaving the bullet lodged in the barrel. I need advise on how to remove it without damaging the barrel. On top of that the barrel bushing is stuck to the barrel, making it impossible to remove the slide. MAB Model D. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Karl

Finally got the pistol apart. I used a large, and I mean LARGE C-clamp to dislodge the slide/bbl bushing. The bbl is indeed bulged. NOS one on the way. What a pain. Going to try to remove the slug anyway, just to inspect the internal damage. No way in hell I'll ever reuse it. I figure I'm lucky it didn't blow up in my hand.
