Mike Hammer
This is what the 100 rd. repro pouch looks like and it was quite nicely done. I've inquired a couple times over the past several years if they were going to restock these but it sure doesn't look like it. If your just looking for some way to carry the drum to the range you might want to go with something like this 100 rd. Chinese drum pouch, it's slightly bigger but very inexpensive and it does the job. Mike Hammer Edited February 19, 2020 by Mike Hammer
Vettom
So where do you get one of these? Thanks
Mike Hammer
So where do you get one of these?ThanksThe Chinese pouch could be found by searching the internet for 100 rd drum pouch and also ebay with the same search. I don't recall where I obtained my Chinese pouch. As far as the repro Thompson C pouch, I bought 2 of them years ago and sold one, I've never encountered another one on the secondary market, wish I had bought a couple more of those. anjong-ni
This one is $12 from Amazon. How bad can it be? "19 cm" looks to be about 7 5/8". Would a C-drum be a tight fit? Would the "map case" be large enough? ...Phil https://www.amazon.com/Vietnam-Original-Surplus-China-Pouch/dp/B071VZF3YN https://www.ebay.com/itm/WW2-ORIGINAL-USMC-MAP-CASE-1944-WITH-STRAP-/254518793041?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l4275.c10 Edited February 22, 2020 by anjong-ni
JJX
My map case is a later U.S. model. A little loose, but works fine for me. This one is $12 from Amazon. How bad can it be? rpbcps
100 round chinese drum pouch https://www.northridgeinc.com/product-p/ak47-4.htm I happen to have a similar Chinese pouch, designed for the Chinese 75 round drums, left over with a transit chest full of AK pouches and magazines, from when I had an interest in AKs and AK accessories. So today I dug it out and tried to fit a 'C' drum in it, without success. An 'L' drum will fit in the pouch, with space to play with though, as the Chinese 7.62mm drums are wider than the Thompson .45 drums.
