anjong-ni
Probably the most ignored part of any Thompson.... the cheesy, thin rusting washers they used on all the #14 screws. As the wood shrinks the stock screws go in until they bottom out. A couple nice s/s washers on each one tightens-up the stock or grip. I haven't found any good #14 flat washers. Anybody else? Of course, SAE #12 or 1/4 washers won't work. Can't be bigger than the screw-head. I've found that the best solution are 6mm washers available here:https://www.mcmaster.com/93475a250 For a limited time, pm-me for a dozen free washers from my life-time (a whole bag) supply....Phil Edited January 5, 2020 by anjong-ni

anjong-ni
It's always fun getting parts in the mailbox. And it was fun hearing from Thompson-enthusiasts around the country. If I missed anybody's request (how does Amazon do it?)....please let me know....Phil
