Broadarrowmaint
I was doing some experimenting yesterday and Im really pleased with how it turned out. I had the receiver and the frame sandblasted and I taped off the barrel and cutts comp to keep a shiny blue appearance like they would have come from the factory. I then applied a couple coats of Birchwood Casey Super Blue with a cheese cloth and I really like how the finish turned out. I then applied a anti rust grease/lube and it sort of looks like a dulite finish in my opinion. What do you guys think!
Broadarrowmaint
This is a little better light to get the color of the receiver and the frame better

Broadarrowmaint
Yeah it didn’t really turn out how I imagined it would but kinda makes it unique I guess.

TennesseeTaylor95
Looks good, who did your machining on the frame to make it look more correct between the grip and the stock?
Broadarrowmaint
Thats how it came from Kahr arms. Im not sure if they are still available but some models have the more correct looking frame straight from Kahr
TennesseeTaylor95
Dang, I have a West Hurley thompson so I guess my only hope is to get a 1928 frame and get it milled to work with my semi auto parts unless I just live with the frame as is.
