I thought I'd pick up one of IMA's $12 canvas action covers, went on great, as I removed it the canvas just gave away around the stud, and it pulled a "perfect circle" out of the dried-material, shame, I've since fixed it enough for display, but it's toast.

I took some photos, I hope you might like - prior to it's demise, lol.

Very nice display

I feel your pain.  I had a snap on an original USMC marked L drum pouch pull out the same way

Oh no!

Mine was a $12 dollar item, so its was irritating at worst, I'm sure yours was considerably more expensive.

Very cool collection!

Thanks - the knives are quite cool, too, in my opinion.

The canvas action cover I have discovered is British, so it doesn't really work for this display, I definitely don't recommend these the canvas is really brittle.

That's the trouble with old canvas, Enfield action covers are the same.

Watch that "undetermined origin" material, prior posts of reproduction materials, mags pouches etc. have been known to rust the hell out of your gear.  Keep your cool stuff oiled down !

Thanks, for the heads up -

My guns are kept in controlled environment safes - no canvas, no holsters.
