My wife commented that they were not only Thompsons, but Colt-made Thompsons, Model of 1921. She then decided it was sad (to her) that she knew that much detail. Thompsonitis infection by association, I guess. Of course, I chose not to mention the likelihood that they were probably Westy '28s with blank firing adapters, or how the blank firing process works.
