This really bites the big one. We just lost a really great guy and gun enthusiast, non other than our beloved "Gunny" R. Lee Ermey. I guess the best place to read about him would be at his website rleeermey.com. He was kind enough to sign my poster and some photos from "Full metal Jacket" some years ago. We are sure gonna miss you Gunny, Semper Fi!

The real Gunny in his element.  Got to spend some quality time with him at the creek setting up my M60 on the chopper for him to shoot.  Watched a couple Vietnam vets come up to him in tears sharing some stories words can't adequately describe.  He was the real deal.

Saw him at the NRA convention in St. Louis several years ago. He was signing books and the line stretched all the way to Cleveland. Quite a guy. He will be sorely missed.
