WTB 1928 and M1A1 or M1 Thompson Kits

Recommended Posts

An interesting parts kit. With the NAC serial number suffix and plugged barrel, it most likely was a Form 5 registered deactivated machine gun that somehow became non-transferable. My guess is the registered owner (or estate) sold or gave it away without filing the proper forms. After all, it was not a functional gun. What is all this paperwork about? S-333639 NAC is deactivated - does not work! Unfortunately, these years ago properly registered $100 deacs have become very expensive if properly maintained. It very well may have passed through several owners before someone checked with ATF. I bet the ATF employees that frequent this Board know...but will never comment. And that is a good thing!

I have some 1928a1 wood. Some with uncommon marks. Buttstock and forend swivels on different places, rear grip original.

Email me if you need anything. The more you buy, the cheaper it becomes.

Best regards Tommy
