Hello, I have a question that hopefully yall know the answer to, I have a semi auto thompson thats built from a savage parts kit.The magazine catch spring keeps popping out of the magazine release lever and I'm not sure why. I tried swapping a few springs in but it keeps happening after a couple dozen magazine changes. Anyone know how to fix this?

Friend rigged up a striker fired system for it, I'm in the usa.
