deerslayer Posted April 4, 2004 Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 After playing thomson saw with a tree today and my 1927 and 1927 a3 I was cleaning the guns. Noticed the A3 .22 rifle had a lot of build up (lead I suppose) around the inside of the compensator. Took quite a bit of work to get it removed. Something for you A3 guys to keep your eye on. 21 smoker Posted April 4, 2004 Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 Dan,.. trust me, any Thompson with a comp will lead up real bad...even my Reising does...I have to scrape very carefully between the slots after every outing.I`m thinking about an ultrasonic cleaner in the future...less intrusive and alot easier to do. Anybody out there have any info about this method of cleaning?
