michaelkih
I was not asked to make this video or share it, and I was not given any kickbacks on pricing to make it. I just made it and want to share it because I am so happy with the product and customer service. I hope you all enjoy the video. i love this thing on my M3A1. Adg105200
That thing is sweet! The video is awesome! I take it Curtis Tactical has worked with M3s before, or did you have to send him the barrel? Andrew

michaelkih
Nice setup. Suppressor all steel?I say it in the video, but no. Titanium tube with a steel sleeve in the expansion chamber. Besides the outer tube, everything is steel.

michaelkih
Thats very interesting. I thought about using steel wool to just see if it even makes a difference at all. Very nice . emmagee1917
Any time you mess with weight , length , contact points , anything that can change barrel harmonics , you can affect point of aim . I've had rifles change by as much as a foot at 25 yards . I also had a spare barrel for my Colt Ace that hit a foot away from my original barrel . I suppressed it , which required sliming it down to pass through a Colt 1st production barrel bushing from a 9MM Commander . With the suppressor attached it now hits within a 1/2 inch of the other barrel . You pays your money and takes your chances . The brass inserts for truck 3/8 inch air brake line , look like little top hats . Idea is to create a maze to delay / slow the gas release making for a quieter exit . Problem with steel or brass wool is pieces get blown apart / cut up and find their way through the barrel ports into the bullets path . That might not do anything bad , but it certainly does no good I believe it originally came packed with some eyelets like on a shoe , I just substituted what I had on hand . My first shot out of it was so quiet I thought it had not picked up a round from the mag , then the " thwack " of cardboard being hit followed by the tinkle of a brass case on the concrete . I thought " Noooooo , no way " , but I was wrong .Chris

skoda
The difference on this suppressor, and most any M3 suppressor that I have ever seen, is that they attach at the base of the barrel (barrel nut actually) not at the muzzle end. If they don't bind the muzzle end of the barrel with some mid-body parts then the barrel is free floating inside the can and won't be affected by it too much. Of course the M3 barrel is fairly short and thick so it is relatively stiff by nature. Drilling the side holes probably hurts stiffness a little bit but not enough to make any significant difference. Mike's last burst at the paper target shows that it's a real shooter of a package so hats off to him and Curtis. Looks like a keeper. huggytree
Im asking them for a S&w 76 integral can too. Got any ideas to make it look better than the typical one ?
huggytree
got the stamp for my can. It totally changes the feel of the gun. The added weight helps muzzle rise plus i think the swiss cheese barrel makes the recoil less (doesnt bottom out). Im not overly impressed with a factory M3a1, but with the can it makes it 2x better. Its by far the quietest silencer i own. Quieter than a .22!!! there is 0 bang. All you hear is the bolt smacking the front. Absolutely amazing. The quality of the build is also amazing. Every part is beefy and threads into the next piece. Highest quality!! Finish is flawless too. I have a S&W 76 can in nfa jail. I look forward to it too. If your on the fence? buy this can

Mike Hammer
I bought one back in May for the M3. I supplied the barrel which helped out on the cost. The transfer has not come through yet but I did get to shoot it at the range. My dealer loved it as well, really quiet. I would consider getting one for my S&W 76, would have to see how one looks.MH
