emmagee1917
It is a M3 sling for the Thompson . It is based on the WW1 M1917 sling for the M1917 Enfield rifle . The M1917 was made by the Kerr Sling company and was so marked . They also made other length slings for other rifles ( 1903 Springfields and Russian Mosin Nagant ) as well as post WW1 comercial . By WW2 , the patents had expired and as far as I know noone has determined who made the M3s for the US in WW2 .Chris
