Colt Actuator Prototype Help

Recommended Posts

I recently got an aftermarket colt actuator from gunbroker. I reversed engineered the actuator and ordered a steel prototype to be made ( delivery 2/10). Anyway I do not have a colt Thompson to validate my prototype and I was wondering if there would be someone on the board that I could send it to for a fit and function test before I do a production run of them. ( You can keep the sample) Please PM me if you are interested.

Can you post a picture of your aftermarket Colt actuator from the front and/or rear? The actuator in the picture you posted does not look like a Colt era actuator to me.

Thanks!

The actuator blueprints are available; why not use them instead of reverse engineering (which is always second best)? If you are going to invest in production you need to insure that your parts are to genuine dimensions & tolerances.
