Ron A
A friend phoned tonight - his actuator cocking knob broke off and he can't find an acutator. I started looking on the internet at the usual sources and can't find one - does anyone know for sure who might have acutators for a 28. I find plenty of kits, but no acutators as parts. Diane
I have a knob that came from a Thompson .22 conversion kit. It is different in the look of the original that your friend has and he would have to have it welded to the other part. However, it would work and he can rework the knob to make it look like the original and then refinish the part. Some may think it not worth it but if he wants to give it a try then it's available till someone else requests it. $30 would surfice with $3.94 for Priority Mail. Ron A
I suggested IMA as he has done business with them before. The one that broke had been obtained from Gun Parts and it looks like a WH part and appeared to be cast. Real sticker shock The last one I purchased cost back of a hundred. Now they go for $185. to $ 250. asking price. The only spare part I didnt have. I had one for a 21 but not for a 28. His gun was a NAC marked gun with a cast WH Acutator.
