tank_gunner
Good morning, I'm working on an Enfield Mk1 Bren gun and was wondering if anybody would know the outside diameter of the gas cylinder? I have noticed a lot of play between the cylinder and the bipod sleeve so just want to know how badly worn is the cylinder. Cheers!

APEXgunparts
Brian over at BRP sells the replacement gas cylinders:https://www.brpguns.com/compare/2638/2639/2641/2640However, they sometimes require a bit of effort to remove.Definitely REMOVE the cross pin BEFORE you start to unscrew the gas cylinder!Care must be exercised to not twist the front extension of the receiver while attempting to free the old gas cylinder.Richard Edited March 26, 2021 by APEXgunparts
