Just signed the Petition.

I remember that Scumbag Lautenberg from New Jersey tacking it on to a Bill last minute.

I am from New Jersey,"Unfortunately" and knew what kind of a Creep Lautenberg was.

"Cory the Clown" Booker and "Robbery" Menendez are more corrupt than Lautenberg ever was.

NJ by Law has on it Books that NFA Weapon can be Legally Owned because of Federal Regulations,BUT you must first possess a Conceal Carry Permit which a Judge must sign off on, then if you apply for an NFA Weapon a Judge must sign off on that too.

Conceal Carry Permits are practically nonexistent to Regular Taxpaying Citizens.

The new Socialist Governor is imposing more Firearm Restrictions.

Why would I want to convert a half million dollar collection into a

There really is 2 ways to look at it,

1. you sign it, the amendment is repealed, the value of you collection may go up or down, because of supply and demand, part kits go up, part collectors make money.

2. Congress pass a bill outlawing Full auto weapons and confiscates them, leaving you with nothing

I'll do it. It's not about the $$.

Because if we don’t push back against every attempt to deprive us of our freedoms , sooner or later that collection will be worth zero.

best to stay in the shadows where 66% of the population doesnt even know we exist...

i have yet to hear of a pro machine gun representative....yes i think the current situation is unconstitutional....but to bring this into the light is to only bring negatives. there is more of a chance of legalizing nation wide prostitution, multiple wives, crack cocaine than there is to legalize FA again.

not worth the mental effort thinking about it....and the first mass shooting that happens with a registered FA? they are all gone

Yay! Finally also guess what the Gun owners of America is bringing the entire NFA to the Supreme Court!

while this may be right/correct...we have a bush appointed judge that is now liberal 50% of the time....so it wont win..

his job seems to be to keep the country right where we are right now and make no radical changes.

ok lets say the NFA is abolished....then what? Do you think the liberals would let it go? do you think soccer moms would just shrug ? republicans would be forced to take a stance on FA...they cant take a stance on much of anything they are such wimps.....liberals would run against republicans and win every soccer mom on this issue...repubs would be forced to try ban them. it would be on the news 24/7

the shadows is your only shot at holding on to this hobby. ask 99% of america if they think its your right to own a FA? do you think any would be on your side?...i think this is a 1-2% issue at best....right below allowing men to stone their wives

This same bill is how the flood of surplus guns was able to be imported into the USA (post 1986) in numbers not seen since the 1960's.

One other point that is worth taking the time to "research", NFA is NOT protected by the Second Amendment to the US Constitution.
The courts have ruled on that more than once.

I was shocked to learn the above, it was the attorneys at Reeves-Dola (Washington based, representing the F.A.I.R Trade Group) who explained this to me while I was on the board of directors.
The F.A.I.R. Trade board met with the department heads of ATF at least twice a year, right across the table.

I like being prepared for meetings such as this, so I would have some pretty lengthy discussions with the attorney's.

Those same attorneys have ended a lot of "poorly written public policy proposals" by working the back channels at ATF, US DoS and the US Congress.
I am glad they are where they are, doing what they do!

If the NFA were abolished tomorrow, I would loose all of my machineguns. They are prohibited in my state (PA) but can be possessed if owned in accordance with the NFA. Same for all other NFA items.

OK, I can easily afford almost all of those........but WHO can afford multiple wives!!!!

On a serious note, baby steps should be taken and removing suppressors from the NFA would be the way to go. If you can't get a harmless metal muffler pipe unbanned you stand no chance of MG's and no point in bringing it up for discussion without being called a KOOK. Liberals incrementalize because it works. Who is against noise reduction and hearing preservervation? Not to mention every firearms enthusiast can afford a $90 can which is what they would be if mass produced and sold like a Toyota muffler at auto zone. I'm not signing and wish someone would retract the proposal.

3. Pelosi, Schumer, et al, pass a bill to "fairly adjust" the transfer tax for inflation.

They also tack on 50 Billion for "The Wall".

The Senate is afraid to not approve a bill that pays for "The Wall"

(Anyone elses viewpoint on the wall doesn't matter -it matters to the only one that matters, he who signs the bills).

$200 in 1934 = $3750.00 in 2019

So, maybe ten percent more for a 21, M16, MP5, etc.

But, other transfers fall off by ???

And, no more suppressor companies.

I'm hoping for option 1, even with the changes it would probably bring:

Hurleys will fall into the basement, with good parts kits becoming nearly equal in selling price.

Real Thompsons may drop, but not so much, just as original Winchesters and SA Colts have not, even after excellent copies became available for a tenth or less. History can't be made on a CNC machine.

According to the attorney's at Reeves-Dola (who are based in DC) before the last election the US Congress was mostly in favor of the "Hearing Protection Act"
It had a real chance of passing.
Then we had another well publicized mass shooting, and the moment was lost.

I had a thought that the US Congress might have really gotten on board and made suppressors MANDATORY!

There is a country where this is the case, no shooting without a suppressor being fitted.

Had no chance of passing. The argument was lost years ago when liberals incrementally taught people guns kill people, instead of bad people kill people. Effectively all people are good and we should let them illegally immigrate, vote while in prison for murder, etc., virtually anything except own guns because they are bad. If you own one, you are also a bad person because you are going to kill something or someone with it. If you eat salad and don't own guns you are the best person on the planet. Until this foolish mindset changes don't expect any restoration of firearms rights, just a gradual decline of society toward socialism. The masses are lazy and stupid and will do what they are told.....especially when medicated and distracted. Less guns, more drugs is the current agenda, that's what won the last governors race in WI.

100% true. Watch the movie " Idiocracy"

Insulate yourself. Become a rational "prepper" Back up to a lake so half your neighbors are fish. Live on a cul-de-sac and exercise every day.

Pray for sunshine and prepare for rain.

The dummies go along dumb and happy. They get dumber and less prepared for what's coming. Makes my life easier.

I agree that we should stay in the shadows and if the NFA is overturned, there is no telling what will replace it, but something surely will. States where you can even own a 30 round mag seem to be falling like dominoes. I think the real fight should be to preserve the rights in the states.
