Hoodie with Ingram M6 what ya think?

Recommended Posts

If you're cool with 99% of people coming up to you telling you that's a nice Thompson on your jacket, then you're all good. Likely half of the people that own MG's don't know what an Ingram M6 is, and the general population has no clue at all. I think it looks nice though! You will be the only one, so there's that?

Great idea as long as you leave it in the closet at home and take it only to MG shoots (not public ranges). Where are you going to wear it? Do you really want to advertise to every low level jagoff on the planet that you own a machine gun? Increase your level of paranoia a skosh before you act

Your F'n right. Do I really want every idiot here in Southern Oregon to know I got one? I don't even go to a range with mine. I shoot it in my back yard (Forest). Really maybe just bullshit ego and not the smart thing to do. Thanks for all the comments.

Well, that's all a bit paranoid and hysterical! Too many unfounded negative assumptions in my view. Oh well......

On the positive side, and from my experience with wearing clothing over many years sporting MG related images, I have met people from all walks of life who expressed interest and curiosity and coming from a wide variety of collector interests including firearms and MGs. Such chance encounters have led to the purchase of MG parts, to leads on the eventual purchase of two MGs, info on gun shows, an opportunity to visit a nice MG collection, quite a few vets old and recent, some good stories, sharing resources for various firearms related stuff and other unexpected and entertaining encounters.
99.9% of people don't know a thing about MGs, don't care and have no reason to care. You and your MG interests have 0% importance, relevance or interest to them. And including crooks.
Crooks want your handguns or ARs, cash, valuables, power tools, something immediately salable, etc, etc. Your Ingram M6???
I know several MG dealers who had some of their MGs, including a beltfed or two, stolen out of their vans at motels late at night while on the way home after Knob Creek and the Show of Shows. Of course, they were staying in high crime areas, so what's new?
When the thieves and MGs were finally, eventually tracked down it was clear the perps, and they allegedly admitted it, really had no idea what to do with the MGs! LOL!
FWIW

So are you stating that having a hoodie or whatever displaying your SMG is good in your opinion? Sounds like it can open up doors to maybe get you another one or parts etc. Please respond and thanks friend.
