I went to my dealers place with my youngest son to see my WH 1928. The gun looks brand new. A little bonus I got was a guitar case, a Bridgeport (U) drum and a WH 39 round drum, which I wasn't aware was included in the purchase price. The WWII drum is pitted baddly and stinks like 60 year old army socks. It had no winding key, but fortunately I had picked up an extra key last spring.
Now off to see the Sheriff and then papers go in the mail.
It will be worth every minute of waiting and every dime spent just to see the look on both of my sons' faces when they pull that trigger and dump an "L" drum.
