Opee
To all S&W 76, MK760, & variants owners. I am considering having a number of Folding stock adapters manufactured to replace the wobbly & unreliable OEM folding wire stock and make the new stock extremely solid and reliable. Need to hear from you if you have serious interest in this project. It completely changes your confidence in firing the gun, with no chance of stock wobble or folding up during FA fire. You just put the OEM wire stock in your safe, and enjoy your 76 in the new configuration. THERE ARE NO MECHANICAL MODS REQUIRED ON YOUR REGISTERED RECEIVER, so your 76 value is retained as a C&R collectible Subgun. I need to get an accurate count for manufacture on 7-Axis CNC equipment. The 2 adapter parts are made from 4140 gun steel, so no flexing or bending has been observed. Have run over a 1000 rounds using the new stock with no issues. Please email me at brmiles@sbcglobal.net if you have a serious interest. Thank You
Opee
There have been some requests for more pics of the 76 gun in the folded position, etc. Regarding the sturdiness of this adapter/stock, the entire gun can be picked up with a fully loaded magazine and carried by the end of butt-stock, swing it around, and I don't see any issues or concerns with the stock bending, folding, etc. I would not be comfortable doing the same things with the OEM wire stock. Adapter is also designed with a hole in the middle so you can remove the retainer pin on the end-cap, and the spring, and bolt without taking the stock or handgrip off the receiver. Rekraps
Buy with confidence. I have spoken with Brian numerous times and find him to be genuine. Note that the run of the adaptors is a one time deal, so I ordered mine immediately ($235 shipped). I also like the sig folding stock, and the look of his gun, so I am shamelessly copying his set-up. He shipped the unit to me yesterday, so I'll have it and the stock by this weekend. I'll review it on this thread as soon as it's installed. Shooting my M76 two days ago at the range reminded me of how lousy the OEM stocks were....
Rekraps
Remember, what is being sold is the custom adaptor and grip plate, you must purchase your own stock to mount on the adaptor.

Opee
Ranger1385:The 76/760 adapter is designed to attach to a stock that has a 1913 Picatinny interface. The Sig Sauer MPX/MCX folding stocks such as the Minimalist Plus work, but there are other Sigs that will work too. There is a Sig Telescoping MCX/MPX folder that I like. There is a company called JMac LLC that makes one called SS-8 that look nice. Lage Manufacturing also has some folders that would fit. Lage also has a 1913 adapter that could attach a number of stocks to match this 76/760 Adapter. Check out Richard Lage’s website. There are a lot more out there available. Anything that will attach/interface with a 1913 rail, will work on this Adapter.
