Any one try Federal Syntech ammo ?

Ive read that competition shooters love it. Read that normally they would shoot about 1000 rounds between two guns cause using just the one would get too hot and be uncomfortable. Whereas this ammo allowed more rounds through the same gun and not worry about the heat.

I'm guessing you will have to clean your gun a little differently. Possibly acetone? Interesting. Let us know what you think once you get out on the range.

Interesting stuff I wonder if it feeds a little smoother. I have run the plastic ARX ammo in handguns and it fed fine. The syntech is a little pricey but let us know how it runs. thx

I know they make .45acp I just didn't see .45acp listed on the op link. The cheapest I can find the .45acp is about .32cents a round.

The deal I posted is gone. But processed by US Armorment and haven't heard a word otherwise.

At the wholesale level it is listed at $75.02 for a 200 round lot, freight paid. That comes out to about 37.5 cents a round. Don't know if that is 4 boxes of 50 or what. Of course, "out of stock".

Its been 2 weeks and no ammo on the front porch and no word from them.

 

Gonna call next week.

 

If the "real" price is close to .40 /round I'll probably pass.

 

Interesting concept but not .40 / round interesting.
