Looking for Original C-Drum Halves 1954 or 3430

Recommended Posts

I know it's a long-shot, but I am trying to find the matching side for my Colt C-Drum.

My gun was from a PD in NJ, and the PD had one other Thompson so I'm hoping they swapped sides, and maybe someone here has the other half.

Is there a better way of going about this? I figured this would be the best place to look, but I'd love to hear other suggestions.

TIA

I believe TSMG28 has a list going of mismatched drum halves. Perhaps he can chime in...

Unfortunately, this drum had already been reported by the prior owner, but is without a current match.

Anybody with a mismatched C or L drum is welcome to forward that information to me. If I find any matches, I will let the parties know.

The drum in Germany was not on my list, so I added it. If you know the owner's contact information, I will add that as well. It will be interesting to see how it is affected by the new gun and magazine laws in the EU.

Kevin, I sent you a PM about your drum.
