BAR rear sight?

I picked up what I believe is a rear sight off a BAR, but I need a little help verifying a few things. First, is there any way to determine a rough year of production? Also, any way to confirm its not a reproduction (and is an original)? Finally, are they any more rare than stamped models? Thanks!

Yes, this is a BAR sight; produced sometime between the spring of 1943 and 1953. What is the number on the inside of bottom of the site ladder? That might help narrow down the production date.

 

It is a not a repro, there has never been a need to repro them that exceeded the available surplus supply

 

This is the stamped model. On the A2 rear sites the 'Stamped' refers to the housing; this one is stamped. Compair to this one (note the lower corners):

The Milled ones are more desirable as they were 1938~1943 'early' production

the number could be late late WWII but more likely 1950-1953 produced
