Paul,

Did you have to jump through hoops to get that short barrel on that one Thompson, like we have to here?

I bought in 1999, and at this time the gunsmith did receive the guns directly with both conditions, some short barrels, some long.

So my A1 has a factory short barrel.

i also remember he had one with black woods.

Bonjour à tous !

I'm back in this thread after 4 years : I will ask help IF POSSIBLE,

I know the law about import/export parts so I do not want any problem to anybody.

My request is for a very very very small insignificant and not firing parts !

the "Rear Sight Leaf Slide Latch Spring" for 1927 A1

Please remember I have government authorization to own the gun, and I will provide the document if needed.

I have an extra 1927 rear sight that miss this small plat spring, it is not for my firing Thompson, but beyond all reason, I would like it to be complete in my exposition window !

It is displayed side to a 1928 articulated sight and a "L" sight.

Parts are easy sold by Munrich, but they sale to the US only, even a sight spring :(

Because the difficulties to order, I will buy 2, in case the sight on my gun will have the same problem in the future : Prevention is better than cure !

If we can find quite easily 1928 parts in Europe, the 1927 are less common.

thanks in advance

paul
