"the Working Man"

Recommended Posts

Though we are separated by a distance of 1336.24 miles, our minds are in sync (and perhaps our wardrobe too). Here are a few images of Paul and his Chopper, both posing with a pals 1934 Ford pickemup truck. I hear the pals wife about fell over when Paul pulled out the Thompson!

Looks like PK and Rust might have the makins of a pretty good gang! Sure, Paul, "Lackey" for now...I need a good right hand man...but I'll watch my back!

PK and Rust, you're making me long for the 'good old days'. Even though I was born in 1963, I grew up watching movies like Dillinger. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

PK, you certainly do age well, not a year older than when you were courting Ms. Parker.

As an aside, I'm a gun writer and do a column called "Guns at Auction". I was fortunate enough a few years ago to have an interview with

Marie Barrow, Clyde's younger sister. Butterfield & Buttterfield was having an auction of some of B&C's guns and such.

I actually got to hold a Colt 1911 that Clyde stole from an army depot. He had scratched his name on the slide. When I was told what the Colt would bring at auction, I VERY carefully put it back on the table.

Keep up the good photos. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Thanks, guys for the comments. I had a lot of fun playing with the image. I probably shoulda asked first, so I hope PK and Chris don't mind. PK certainly fits the era. Maybe I'll sneak one in of Chris sometimes.

A few years back I heard of a rumor of somebody in Colorado and Bonnie Parker had a thing goin' on. No name was ever mentioned so Clyde couldn't find him! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Now I know what the person who is working on my gun looks like - you can run but can't hide.

Outstanding photos

As a matter of fact - Yes - a good eye. A MG42 and a Cohiba. The only way to go! Unless, its a 21 or 28, but still with a Cohiba. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
