42" is too long for a full auto Thompson -- about 10" too much slop where it will jiggle in the case. For the 1927s, it should work nicely.

It looks like the same case that Kahr has on their website for $109.00. I bought a Kahr awhile back but think it was around 60.00. I know i didn't pay 109.00. It's a nice case. Yes, its for the long gun but nice for tossing the '28 in the trunk, vs. the 50lb Pelican Case. I think the Numrich price is ok, if you don't mind the slop. (throw another drum in there).
