bmarvin
Only 9 are shown. The 10th is a .22 caliber Handy Gun which is not an AOW.3-8" .4105-12".4101-12" 28 gauge Two of the 12" .410's are rather rare as they have the "S" hook trigger guard

bmarvin
Interesting side note. I was emailing another Handy Gun collector. He bought a couple of the new in box guns from the H&R bankruptcy auction. We each own 12" .410 Handy Guns with the same serial numbers. Both are on approved ATF form 4's. Not sure how that's possible.

bmarvin
Nice acquisition, congratsNot sure I would want to open the door on why two Handy Guns with the same #I intend to file a freedom to see what I can dig up. I have another Handy Gun that the ATF added a "3" to the end of the serial number on the form 4. I don't know if that showed as a double as well. Both of these guns do have a 3 stamped on the barrel as they are chambered for 3" shells. I've recently been approached on another Handy Gun. It was discovered in a purse in a closet of an old New England farm house. The people that inherited the house had no idea it was a NFA item, and they are both police officers. The barrel has since been removed and rifled to eliminate it from the ATF requirements. Edited December 27, 2016 by bmarvin
