I see this as a good thing. Colt has been circling the drain for years. They were in desperate need of a technology infusion and the cash required to implement it. CZ has both and they are gunmakers not bean counters like the ones that destroyed Remington

While I am sorry to see Colt become another foreign-owned company, I am delighted to see it pass out of the hands of the anti-gun New York investors group that has owned it for decades. They were only interested in sucking the maximum number of dollars out of it and I pray that the company will once again be allowed to flourish under the ownership of real "gun people".

I'm glad they are being acquired by CZ. While it's not an American company, I think CZ will make Colt viable again. As "Got Uzi" said, Colt was their own worst enemy. Hopefully CZ moves it out of CT to a friendlier gun state.

Colts has been mismanaged for decades. A step in the right direction IMO. Maybe they will buy the floundering HK as well?

Nothing more laughable than companies spending hundreds of thousands in shot show booths and marketing and when you try to place an order for products "proudly" displayed they tell you they can't or won't produce them?

Cz is my favorite handgun company. Their higher end guns are works of art

I recently spent $1800 for a new colt python. With the sight bottomed out it still shot 2 high. Went back to colt and they recut the crown and brought the gun into specs(thats what the work order said anyways ) Trigger is nothing like my old Anaconda. I Regret even buying it.

Only positives can come from the cz purchase

Yes to all the above. As much I dont like a defense industry being owned by a foreign entity, its better than the managers running it now. HK has bigger problems but the same none the less. A few anti gunners are on their board and are aimed at killing the company from within.
