Nick, Devlin, or Chris, do I need to download an image to my computer? How did you post yours? Thanks, Walter

If you want to use an image of yourself, you need to upload a picture from your computer. Go up to MyControls, then edit avatar settings. Click button for your image avatars, and try browsing your computer for a file to upload. They must be 64x64 pixels in size, which can make a regular rectangular picture sort of squashy. If anyone needs help with sizing, email me the image and I'll fix it for you. If your image is already hosted someplace, you can alernately post the URL in the space provided. Hope this is clear as mud!

As Mud.
No, it really does seem straight forward, but I'm not sure how to resize images. So I emailed one to you; did you get it Rust? Thanks in advance, Walter

Every time I try to upload an avatar, the server says:
"The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem"
I am just trying to upload a 64 x 64 gif image.
Please help nick.

Thank-you very much Nick!
That did it, whatever you did.
Regards, Walter
P.S. Thanks also to Chris for resizing image.
Too bad we can't have larger avatars (not a complaint-just a thought).

P.S. Thanks also to Chris for resizing image.

Max size for avatars that you're UPLOADING to the site is 50K - it was lower before and that may have caused some problems?
give it another try and check your file size!!
