I don't need exact recipes, but some ballpark stuff. What sort of bullets and powder do these things like? Thank you for any information...... Is it still quite a wait when you order one of these from them? Robert Landies runs one hell of a good business there in Chardon Ohio. Got to visit it last year and WOW!!! I left a little bit poorer. Hawkeye_Joe Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 My understanding is that they have suspended production of the "early" 1918 model, but still produce the 1918A3 SLR. The waiting list is pretty long. Several have come up for sale lately, if you are willing to shell out extra bucks to not have to wait. Selling for about $5K now. I was told it would be summer-fall 2009.. Then, I got a call about 2 weeks ago. They said they had one for me if I wanted it. Of course I took it.... I think they must have had some cancellations and were trying to ship out the ones they had built.. Whatever happened, it worked out for me.. I got it last Thursday. I work weekends, so have been busy. Also, it's been below zero for several days so I haven't gotten out to shoot it yet.. It's supposed to be 15-20 tomorrow, but I have a morning dinner appt, and I have to move some round bales after that. Hopefully, I'll get out tomorrow to shoot a few rounds. I also ordered an extra flash hider because it appears the bipod will scratch it up pretty good. I'll use the worst one with the bipod, and the best one without.. It's a beauty, I caress it a lot!!!
