This is fantastic! Brings an already great Board to a new level. If you don't have a mic, pick one up. Setup was painless. Its great to put voices with you folks! See you tomorrow evening.

The talking at once thing will resolve itself if we are careful. The best way is to start a subject, such as what kind of ammo have you had the worst luck with and ask another to answer, then that person can ask for someone elses opinion on the matter. Would go something like this:
Hey Craig, what kind of ammo do you have problems with? Everyone will hear Craig chime in and reply and Craig might say "I hate that Wolf stuff, it jams. Bruce, have you ever shot any? Bruce comes in with his reply... and so on. Usually if someone starts talking and someone else starts in at the same time both will stop and then I will try to call on one or the other.
Its kind of like a big conference call almost.
One good thing about something like this is the ability for people interested in the Thomspon to talk to other people who are interested in the Thompson in real time. This program also has a chat function built into it so you could have sessions of real time Q&A. We could have something like Wednesday night Ammo Depot or Wednesday reloaders talk.
I love the internet forum concept and the voice added concept is certainly not new, its been around for years. It (hopefully) will turn out to be like a TCA meet the board members from the comfort of your own home. I am hoping Murry Willis, and other board members from across the world will join in and discuss the Thompson. That would be really cool.
Remember you can totally test your ventrilo before you ever log onto a server.
You just need the client version to make this work and you can get it here:
Ventrilo Download page
Once you have Ventrilo downloaded and working (remember you don't have to connect to a server to test it), I should be able to provide you with a link to click on and your in automatically. I will work on this.
Take care.
