Great Day to All. I am new to this and in reviewing the posted emails; I seem to have what most of you have. An appreciation of the Thompson M1A1.
My first problem, how do I remove the grip mount from the receiver? The barrel appears to be good, the receiver is no good, and I cannot figure it out. Any and all help would be appreciated. Until then....

You have to remove the barrel. The grip mount has a little tab sticking up and thus is held in place by the barrel. This can be a chore without the right tools.
