I have a Kahr 1927 a-1 "commando" and was wondering if anyone makes a rear sight leaf with a smaller Aperture then what comes on it. Was thinking of it being about the size of the small sight on an ar15.

I don’t know of anyone making a replacement sight, but one could be welded up and re- drilled to a smaller aperture size. POI could be adjusted at the same time if needed.

Junglewalk just posted pics of his rear sight, he brazed a 03A3 Springfield on in place of the ladder. that would give you something very similar to the M-16 recticle you were thinking about.
