Current Bar Parts Kit Prices

Recommended Posts

I'm kind of in the market for a BAR parts kit, saving my pennies anyway!

Mostly all the kits I see for sale today don't include a barrel, which I've heard there is a company you can get them from anyway (OOW is it?)

Anyway I'm wondering what you guys would say is a fair price to pay for a 1918A2 parts kit that is in good, operating condition, obviously small wear and discoloration from storage is fine, even surface rust can be worked with I figure.

Thanks all!

$1200 on up with all small parts including and a barrel.

thanks bigbore! Are there any particular sellers or companies you would recommend buying the kit from?

They are pretty hard to come by any more. the only place I know that has them now is Sarco, and you now how it goes ordering from them...

Well, Sarco has/had some recently (I don't know if they have any left...) that were $1595 with a VG condition barrel. You can get a new (non-usgi) barrel from OOW for $450. I don't know what a used VG condition USGI bbl would go form these days - $200?? Anyway, Given the above data points, perhaps $1300 or so for one without a barrel, depending on condition...
