darrylta Posted May 20, 2010 Report Share Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) Bought a BAR today, it's a commercial 30.06 Model 1925 (R75) Colt on a MR receiver. It appears to be in very good condition. It was built pre ban before the import laws tightened up. darrylta Posted May 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 (edited) It has a Marlin Rockwell receiver. I bought it for the complete Colt R75 parts build, I'm mainly a Colt collector. I'm looking forward to getting up to speed with the Rock in a Hard Place book. Yes it is a FA. It appears from other books that the BAR's are not as easy as the Thompsons to tinker with. I don't expect any problems since it was built by OOW in 1991 and has been a safe queen ever since.
