Hi all i am trying to find out what kind of slings there was on the ud42? some says thompson slings, is this corect?.

The UD42 had a sling similar to the Thompson NOBUCKL sling, however, it is different in thickness. I have one. Will try and post a picture of it later for the boards.

That looks like an M1917 sling, in my opinion. Are there any differentiators you are aware of that would identify it as a sling made specifically for the UD-M42? David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com |
