Charlie Erb Posted September 9, 2010 Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 I have noticed on several A.O. and Savage stocks 28 A1 models that their are numbers on the Butt-plate and the wood stock itself, these numbers are usually the same, however Ive never seen them match the s/n of the gun, were these stocks numbered to the gun or were they just random units pulled off the shelf, any members with idears on this?
