Hi Guys,

I want to shorten the barrel on my SA 27A1 to an overall length of 16", including the compensator. Is the compensator a legal extension if it's silver-soldered to the barrel or would it have to be welded? TIA.

Yes, you can use the Compensator as an extension. That has been covered here before. Welding would probably be best though.
