I wish to use unmodified mags on my Kahr 1927-A1. My question is can I simply replace the mag catch with one from a 1921/1928 (I assume it has the correct dimensions) or would it be more advisable to modify my existing catch? Any help would be appreciated.

The basic dimensions of the semi and full auto mag catches are the same, either will have to be modified in order to use SMG magazines in the SA gun.
