That's about the going price for a West Hurley (solid center pin with a nib) and it's a very good price for a non west hurley. Speculation is though, that if the 10 round mag ban is not reauthorized we'll see new production drums for around $200 plus or minus.
That said though, I am holding on to my drums rather that sell them and bet on the quality of the Kahr drums or that the Clinton ban won't sneak under the tent before fall.

Im not sure is this is a West Hurley drum. It just says auto ordnance with the thompson logo.
As you can tell I am fairly new to thompsons, just got mine 2 months ago and I love it!

As Chip stated, look at the back of the drum abd check the solid center pin. If it is solid then its a WH, but if sort of hollow then an original and definitely worth the money.

I sold my bridgeport L drum about a month ago...$1200 and it sold fast! if the drum your looking at is original with non solid center pin...you better jump on it.....or let me know and i'll buy it....
